Low Carb, High Protein Cheesy Bread Sticks

Craving Pizza Hut's Cheese Sticks or Domino's Cheesy Bread but can't afford the calories or carbs? Try this recipe instead.

Ingredients needed:

Start by toasting the flatbread in a regular oven (don't use a convection oven). Toast for 5-7 minutes on 400 degrees until toasted to your likeness. No pan needed, you can simply lay it on the oven rack.

Once toasted, remove the flatbread and lay the un-toasted side down on to a non-stick sheet pan. You can use a regular pan too. Simply cover in aluminum foil and spray with your favorite cooking spray.

Spray flatbread with an olive oil or butter flavored spray. Add a thin layer of cottage cheese (optional). Then add your mozzarella cheese, being sure to cover then entire flatbread. We used 1 full cup of cheese. If you opt to use the cottage cheese base, you can use less mozzarella, plus it'll give you a cheesier flavor. Top with Italian seasoning (season to taste), then spray another light spray of olive oil or butter flavored cooking spray.

Place back in the oven for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted, while also checking the underside to ensure it's toasted to your liking.
